When Jennifer and Kevin Box built their home and studio together, it reminded them of two birds building a nest. The artists collected some olive branches, a Mediterranean symbol of peace and compromise, and cast them into bronze to make the nest. Combining the olive branches with the cranes further represents the compromise required when working together, to make a happy home.
